Who Are We?
Welcome to the blog of Mary and Belle. We are two best friends who are incredibly fascinated by any type of photography. Mary got her first camera when she was just sixteen. At first, she only took several photos per week until one day she decided it would be a good idea to get more familiar with her gadget.
That was the moment when she found out photography is something infinite, spectacular, and extraordinary. She started taking pictures of her family members, her friends, the objects in her room, the flowers in her outdoor garden, basically everything. Simply put, she found it very hard to turn off her camera. One day she expressed her enthusiasm in front of me and showed me some of her favorite shots.
Undeniably, I was more than impressed with her work and asked her to share some of her knowledge with me. After a few weeks, I knew what my next purchase would be. We’ve known each other from a young age, and we’ve always found it strange that we like the same things. Photography is no exception. Perhaps that’s why we are inseparable almost every day of the week.
How Did the Idea of Our Blog Emerge
Apart from shooting, we’ve spent a fair amount of time editing our photos and reading different articles and books with regard to photography. One afternoon, I jokingly said that we are perfectly capable of creating our very own website dedicated to anything photography-related. To my surprise, Mary didn’t laugh. And that’s how our blog became a reality.
Even though both of us work full-time, we thought that we would certainly manage to spend a few hours a week working on our newly created website. Not only did we succeed but we enjoyed every second of the process. While preparing informative articles for our potential readers, we learned new things every single day.
We didn’t feel obliged to create content for our blog. Quite the opposite, actually, this quickly became our next favorite hobby after taking photos. Since sometimes it’s not possible for us to work together, we prepare content in advance. Then, whenever we have spare time, we schedule a meeting and discuss any potential changes that should be made.
What Will You Discover On this Platform
We have certainly put a lot of effort into making this website. We both had zero experience with blogging and writing in general. Nevertheless, once we took the task seriously, things started happening. At first, we spent an immense amount of time trying to find the most suitable theme for our blog, and we’ve discussed for hours what the main colors should be.
Once we made up our minds, we started focusing on the most essential part of our journey, namely the content that will be published. We both agree that we want to be as informative as possible, without using complicated terms. That’s why our articles are deprived of any sophisticated language. Instead, we do our best to write articles that are easily understandable and incredibly helpful at the same time.
